Our staff consists of experienced licensed structural and civil engineers supported by skilled technicians. Over the years, Erickson Engineering has provided design services for hundreds of vehicular and recreational bridges on Minnesota highways and trails, consisting of a wide range of structure type and complexity. In recent years, our main emphasis in bridge design has been with prestressed concrete beam, reinforced concrete slab, steel beam, prefabricated steel truss, timber slab, timber beam, and timber truss structure types. Our staff has the training and experience required for all aspects of bridge and roadway design. We provide preliminary and final designs coupled with detailed estimates, construction specifications, construction plans, and related documentation. We are involved with development and utilization of new design concepts and material applications for a wide range of projects. Retaining WallsErickson Engineering’s experience in retaining wall design includes a wide variety of types and materials such as cast-in-place concrete, steel sheet piling, mechanically stabilized earth, treated timber, etc. We have experience designing retaining walls as extensions of bridge abutment/wingwalls and as stand-alone structures. SurveyingFully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, Erickson Engineering provides onsite surveying within the project scope as specified by our clients. Our engineers and technicians perform the surveys, providing them with enhanced knowledge as they progress into the design phase of the projects. We have the capability to conduct field surveys on short notice for fast turn-around projects or during emergency situations when deemed necessary by our clients. |
